Great information, makes it all clearer! Thank you very much for this. What a mess eh? We really need an instruction book to understand our own bodies. Quite unbelievable, so complex yet it all makes sense..

I feel like i am finally not the only one with all of the weight problems. I am 42 yrs old and have 3 children. I was lucky enough to only have some infertility with last one. Im sure some of this was due to the sudden weight gain i developed when i developed pcos. i think i had it in high school too once i started looking back. I feel like a fat pig all of the time and get real depressed about my weight. I think people are looking at me thinking i sit home and eat all of time, but this couldnt be farther from the truth. Insurance also denied me because of my weight. Wish i knew what to do.

thanks for the articles. I just have a question. My last lab work showed that my hormone levels were upper/normal range. I had a normal blood sugar reading after fasting. I have an internal sono done..no cysts or no block tubes. My ovaries were larger than normal. I had a lot of foliciles ...sorry for the horrible spelling...and a lot of eggs. I havent had a period in two years...mind you i got all this blood work done about 6 month ago. Provera at 5 mg didnt work. I get cramps and everything else when my period was normal when i was on birth control, but im not anymore. I have most of the sympt. of pcos, but im not so sure thats the only diag. I dont have thyorid problems or anything like that. Any other disorders it could be besides pcos?

Hi, I stumbled across your blog tonight. I was diagnosised with PCOS after trying to get pregnant for 2 years. Now that I am 9 months postpartum, I was wondering who I should go to in order to get this PCOS under control, which led me to your site. I see you haven't posted in the New Year and I hope you do real soon.
