I have been reading on the net about PCOS and this is by far the most informative article.

I am also suffering from PCOS from a long time. Right from puberty i have never had any regular periods. I was always on the heavier side.

In 2007 i started taking Krimson 35 along with Glynase 500mg. I took them for close to 2yrs and also was regular with exercise and diet. I lost close to 20kgs. I got married in 2010 and left the use of both the medicines and now i have gained all the 20kgs and i am back on square one.

It is only now that i realized that PCOS is a lifetime disease and we need to maintain the symptoms with a disciplined lifestyle. I have again started working out in the gym regularly and this time i want to be well educated on how to maintain my weight along with PCOS in control. Weight loss is also very very difficult.

It is very demotivating to gain weight again.

I am feeling very depressed today. I am 51 years old and my body feels like it is out of control. I had an ovary removed in 2004 and since then my body has ballooned up. i exercise, I eat right and I can't lose a pound! I hate looking like this and people keep making fun of me. Is anyone able to lose the weight with this illness?

I love the look of your blog, the theme is awesome!

Have you looked into d chiro inositol or DCI? I was doing all the right things and getting nowhere, but when I started taking DCI I finally started losing weight and my periods came back! There have been plenty of studies published on it. You can search for them on Pubmed.

Great information, makes it all clearer! Thank you very much for this. What a mess eh? We really need an instruction book to understand our own bodies. Quite unbelievable, so complex yet it all makes sense..
